TALKING STAR WARS
We can all agree that this recent chapter was epic. Almost the entire time we are fixed into action-packed scenes, but what makes this chapter interesting is that not one undead specimen made an appearance!
At the beginning of the chapter we are introduced to new characters like Harvis and Quito Traper, as well as Chanto Vos, who was confirmed to be a relative of the Vos' (Quinlan Vos). We also get to know more about characters like Landon Kyberstrong, Pinn-Att-Tubo, Tendo Nin, Cortarra, and Ora Tay.
As we get into more details of the battle, almost every survivor gets terribly wounded by blaster fire. However, it was proven that none were killed in the fray. Let's also recognize that Landon Kyberstrong made several attempts to protect Nava. Perhaps because she was a woman, and Landon is a noble warrior, or perhaps he has developed feelings for the former pilot?
Continuing down the chapter, the group is confronted by a mysterious figure clad in red armor. With ease, he manages to cut down Chanto, Cortarra, and Tendo Nin within a matter of seconds. Just after that insinuated, Ora Tay's Jedi team makes their stand against the figure, and they too are downed in an explosive light saber duel. However, the skilled, mysterious being wielded a cortosis blade, and managed to deactivate each of his Jedi opponent's light sabers, and once that happened, he released a concussion detonator. During the fight, the being says words that gave me dark chills down my spine: "You all show promise, but in the end...The Hunter always wins."
Then I noticed something familiar about the character and the significance of the name "The Hunter" and then I discovered it:
Yes, they are the same person. The Hunter, who as said in Season 1, was hunting Jedi. And now we see in Season 2, the same person taking down Tendo Nin, Ora Tay, and three other Jedi. After the rest of the survivors wake from the explosion, they realize that the Jedi, and only the Jedi are missing. Where did The Hunter take them...and for what purpose?
Next we find Denny, the Jedi Padawan standing outside the community waiting for Nava to return. We read that he has begun to wonder if he is a Jedi any longer. For three years he has been without the Force and without a light saber to make him feel complete. To sum it up, he doubts if he has any potential. Then Aurra Sing stands beside Denny to talk, and it is then that she realizes how powerful Denny is. Just then, Nava and the survivors return to Pandem.
After the reunion, we go back to the action where Captain Chance, and Commander Armatum have infiltrated the power grid facility. After succeeding, they notice that they are able to send a message through intercoms all over Bondo III. They decide to send the message specifically in Republic territories, and we get to see which survivors hear the call. We see a couple of new faces, as well as old.
The Forest Temple and Master Jay...
Rhic Grymz...
...And Jedi Knight, Spar Tan-Du! I have been dying to see him again and here he is! He is without his cape and he looks battered. He is also standing beside Hanily Eman, the woman he took with him in Season 1, as well as his droid. Which leaves the question...where is Zen Utaru?
