I think I can say that Star Wars: Dead Among the Living was a hit. Since the posting of the last episode which had premiered last night, the photonovelempire.blogspot.com website had scored over 60,000 views. I had spoken with Golden Guy pictures with hopes to determine what their next steps were, and although they did not give very much information on the subject, they did speak that they were in fact, going to take Star Wars: Dead Among the Living to the next level. I personally believe that they have what it takes to turn this great story into one of the greatest photo novels in photo-novel history.
Not only did I speak to Golden Guy pictures about the successes of the first season of this great photo novel, I also spoke of their plans for the next season of Star Wars: Dead Among the Living. Before I spill any beans, I'd like to go over the first season. Let's admit, the first four or five episodes weren't the greatest, and Golden Guy pictures agreed completely that the photo quality, backdrops, action figures, editing skills, and even grammar by "Zen Utaru" were not the greatest. But let us also admit, after the season continued, editing level, photo quality, grammar and backdrop set quality increased dramatically, and thus had become a great success. The success of the first season was enough for Zen Utaru to continue in his ideas for what could be a huge hit for photo novels.
Moving forward, I spoke to both Zen Utaru, and Golden Guy pictures about what we are to expect for the next season of Star Wars: Dead Among the Living, which we already know because of the teaser at the end of the last episode of the first season. Season two will be entitled: Dawn of the Planet of the Living. We also know, that Golden Guy pictures have managed to get their hands on a photo editor, so I think we can all look forward to CG advancements for this great photo novel. We also know that Golden Guy pictures have taken it twenty steps forward in picture quality, wanting to make it as cinematic as possible, yet having the sharp, grain effect that we saw in the original Star Wars movies.
I also spoke with "Zen Utaru" the man behind the impacting story. We spoke and the writer of the story told me that he was also taking it a step forward, and was taking more time on backgrounds, action figures, and devoting hundreds of dollars towards this story with hopes that it would do just as good if not greater than the first season.
I am sorry to admit, although I have this much information, I have not been given any details or information on the next season or how things will play out in the next season. Zen Utaru said, (And I quote) "Only time will tell!"
Thank you, Golden Guy pictures, and Zen Utaru, may the Force be with you!
