THE LAST EPISODE OF STAR WARS: SURVIVORS
CHAPTER 2: SEARCHING FOR KATARAN

Disappearing into the apartment complex, the Nikto being chuckled with a hint of a victorious grin.

Standing up from his position, he strode over around the corner, and gave a signal.

Moments later, two Imperial Storm Troopers hustled towards the Bounty Hunter, DC-15 assault rifles in arms.

"What took you cloned pieces of Bantha fodder so star-ending long?!" spat the Nikto,

"Relieve yourself of the pleasantries, Bounty Hunter. Where's the Jedi?" the leading Officer questioned.

"Are you even sure he's a Jedi?"

"How dare you question my tracking skills, clone," the Nikto bellowed, "he carried a bloody light saber..."

"...Trust me, I can tell the difference between a fryin' citizen of the "City Planet", and a bleedin' Jedi!"

Qu Rahn, Jedi Purge survivor sighed with disapointment, "Five weeks into my search for Kyle, and my covers already compromised..."

"Then again, I would only confirm it if I draw my light saber."

Manning his position behind a durocrete walkway, Master Rahn prepared for another fight for survival.

"Alright, ladies, if you'll just follow me, now let's tear the bleedin' Rancor spittin' Jedi to pieces!" drawing his blaster, the three advanced towards Qu, not knowing that an ambush awaited them.

The Jedi Master fired first, guiding his hand with the Force...

"Son of a Sarrlac!" cried out the Nikto Bounty Hunter as Qu Rahn's attempt played true, killing the being as he hit the ground.

From then, the Empire fired second, and this time, just like every other time, harder, and more powerful than the first.
"I'll take left flank!" the leading Officer stated, crouching low and advancing.

The Storm Troopers were closing in, the blasts forcing Qu to take cover. He could sense the strength of the durocrete weakening, he wouldn't be able to hide being the element for long.

"Keep moving, I'll give cover fire!" the following Trooper exclaimed, as the Officer to the left flank charged the Master.

Rolling forward, the Jedi fired a blast...

...The blast taking out the right flank giving cover fire, now it was every man's game, each man vulnerable.

A blast was shot, Qu ducked low, and the charging storm was closing in.
"Force protect me!" Master Rahn prayed.

"I hope this Kyle Kataran is worth it." the Master hoped, and prepared for the worst that could happen in this circumstance.

Rahn fired the string of crimson inferno, soaring and sizzling the dust in its path, all life seemed to have froze, the perspective of the Jedi was a life in slow episodes of motion and then...

A miss! Though the blast blinded the Storm Trooper for just the right amount of time to fire another blast.

Qu took the amount he had, firing again, and the blast met its mark.

Starring upon the body of which he had killed,a wave of emotion swept over him like the waves of Kamino.

"How many more bodies must I kill..."

"...to ensure the safety of myself, the galaxy..."

"...And most of all, a new hope for the Galaxy named Kyle?"
THE END?

STAR WARS: DEAD AMONG THE LIVING CHAPTER 6: UNNECESSARY EMOTIONS

It has been long past the onslaught of the attacks, the "death" tole has reduced, as most of the world has already been infected by the mysterious circumstance. Knowing that getting to high ground was the safest gesture for the group of survivors, the four find haven in an abandoned well tower.

"We've been up here for who knows how long." said Y'Ddam, a female Twi'lek pilot, and fellow survivor.

"Too long, Y'Ddam, and I beginning to feel like a flesh-eater myself!" replied a Nikto civilian, who went by the name Sel Rach.

"If anyone eats anybody, that'll be me eating you, Y'Ddam." warned the former prisoner who claimed to go by the name Bor'tre.

"You wish, if you were the last man in the entire universe, Bor'tre, I'd go with the asteroids!" Y'Ddam fired back, she squeezed her eyes shut and opened them to hide away the tears, hiding her emotions of her fallen boyfriend when the chaos broke out.
He was of the same species, going out to eat on that fateful morning when they chefs found beings to be a new type of food.

"You just wait, sister...you'll be mine, they always end up mine." the criminal insisted.

"Why don't you let her go, she's not your type, and since when did pilots and criminals fall in love."

"I am beginning to realize the power of emotions," stated Jedi Knight Chaz Artepo.

"Yeah, how's that?" Y'Ddam questioned, knowing of Chaz's afflictions.

"For some, like my late past ancestor, Shang-Troy Thanabo suffered for it because he was the person sitting innocently by the sidelines..."

"Others like Bor'tre suffer because he can't win another person's heart."

"Haha, you tell him, Chaz!" enjoyed Sel,

"I never knew Jedi could make another laugh, Chaz!" Y'Ddam chuckled,

"It is a Jedi's duty to find the joy where there cannot be happiness."

"Yeah, find the humor in the extinction of the Jedi!" Bor'tre countered,

"Bor'tre, stop!" Y'Ddam bellowed,
"Chaz is a survivor in a world of survivors, he deserves respect!"

"Oh, believe me, Y'Ddam, I am not insulted, for the Jedi lost on this world are in paradise, a place I dream of visiting at some point in my life." the Knight assured.
"Have pity for the one who is blind with his own emotions."

"I have just about gone mad with you, you son of a bantha!" Bor'tre growled, his other hand slowly moving toward his concealed hand gun.

"You've all made it your obligation to shun me because I'm a star-ending bantha fodder!"

"You are not a target, but yet you choose to step into the path of the cross-fire, thus giving yourself a reason to commit the crimes you did in the past." Chaz countered, sensing the other man's anxiety to fire his blaster.

"You're right, Chaz, I do have overwhelming emotions, and the most to Chaz and that Nikkee over there!" Bor'tre fired back, adding a racist comment to the Nikto.

"Bor'tre, put the weapon down, killing won't save Bondo III, but I'll kill you if I must." Y'Ddam warned,

"So scared of a twik," Bor'tre growled again, he pointed his blaster at the Nikto, and set his finger on the trigger, "Die, Nikkee..."

In a flash of light, a fiery string of red tore into the flesh of the insane human...

Sending him sprawling into the pit of the well tower, down to his death...or was death the end?

Y'Ddam lowered her blaster, sighing with disapointment, and hid it with her spunky attitude,

"He was getting on my nerves." and she walked away from the others, to sit alone to drown in her own emotions.

Walking beside Chaz, the Nikto Sel sighed with his cheeks turning orange with blush,
"I got dibs, since I assume Jedi don't love."
